Heading to Guyana today. For those unfamiliar with the country, here are some facts about my homeland. 🇬🇾 -It’s the only English-speaking country in South America. -Over 80% of it is covered in untouched rainforest. -Guyana means “land of many waters”. There are over 300 waterfalls in Guyana, including Kaieteur Falls which is taller than Niagara Falls and more powerful than Victoria. - Guyana has a vibrant and diverse population, reflecting its history as a melting pot of African, Indian, Chinese, Portuguese, European, and Amerindian culture. I’ll share more about this hidden gem in South America. See you in Guyana!
