1. How does Shibuya merge film and crypto in a way that actually enhances storytelling? 2. What inspires your visual style? Any directors or artists you keep going back to? 3. What’s been the hardest technical challenge building Shibuya as a platform? 4. What’s one thing you’ve learned the hard way since starting Shibuya?

1. this was (and still is) a trial and error process, specifically with white rabbit as our sandbox. white rabbit used a choose your own adventure interactive mechanic that allowed you to mint an nft to continue the storyline, while staking the nft to actually affect it. the fees minted went towards production budget, and i think this was a cool and novel, two birds with one stone way of getting our film funded and build a community at the same time ofc this was back in 2022, and crypto has changed a lot since, so we are still in the process of figuring out a way to do this moving forward with even more creators and ones who aren't familiar w crypto 2. anime! but also a24. anything grainy lol. in terms of directors i love alberto mielgo, the daniels, michel gondry, obv miyazaki, and many many others 3. hiring good engineers is hard lol (if u know any pls holler). as a non technical founder that's an area i struggled the most 4. not always giving people the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately

1. On White Rabbit: Would love to hear if you think this interactive model could work beyond film… like in games or music videos? 2. On crypto + creators: What’s been the hardest part of onboarding non-crypto-native creators so far? 3. On aesthetics: Grainy everything is a vibe. Ever thought of doing something in the rotoscope/Scanner Darkly style? 4. On engineers: Have you considered building with open-source contributors or bounty-style collaboration? 5. On the lesson learned: I’m curious… was that about working with people in crypto, creative partners, or just in general?
