That day, Doctor Fa arrived at Nana's condo. She smiled and spoke confidently while preparing the equipment. Nana was excited to have a perfect face. But just a few hours after the injection, her face started to swell and turn red, hives covered her cheeks, and her right eye started to see blurry. Nana rushed to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed that she was allergic to the injected substance, which was a fake filler. What was even scarier was that the substance caused a blockage of the capillaries in her eyes, causing her retina to rupture. Nana had to undergo emergency surgery, but the doctor said that the chance of her eye regaining normal vision was very low.
Nana's life became a nightmare. She lost her confidence, did not dare to go out and meet people, and had to resign from her beloved receptionist job because her blurred vision made it difficult to work to her full potential.
