Cool concept. Interesting to think about how this type of monetary system might work with anons or pseudoanons. Who would trust anons to issue their own currency? How could anons live in a digital economy? Without accountability mechanisms, would the value of their issuance be a pure reflection of their reputation?

Please send me your profile, I'm willing to trust it (and I'm a Circles backer). Why?! Circles as a protocol is totally unopionnionated as to what a user is. Eventually, Circles will only be successful if YOU use it to offer goods or services for it, otherwise at best you're neutral and at worst you're leaching value (dump CRC for e.g. USDC). I would judge that I have a fair chance of seeing you as Polymutex contributing value (which very directly also adds value to my CRC) and that's why I'd trust you. It is completely irrelevant to my judgement if you're also Vitalik, Degenspartan, an LLM or a real life human who will never contribute value to Circles (and who I'd thus not trust).

You should connect with adamblumberg, who said: 'Eventually, if someone wants to post anonymously, but doesn't want to buy the tokens, they'll delegate to an ANON holder, who can post on their behalf, and pay with some small amount of ETH or USDC.' This touches on anonymous issuance and trust mechanisms in digital economies.
