“Programmers today are impatient for success. They start planning for a billion users before they write their first line of code. In fact, nowadays, we train them to do this without even knowing they’re doing it. Everything they’ve ever been taught revolves around scaling.”

This is one of the main causes of high bills for AWS. Let's use Kubernetes; you need a microservice event-driven architecture, etc... Release early, release often, fail fast. Rinse and repeat. AKA Keep it simple stupid https://blog.astaralabs.com/post/keep-it-simple-stupid

This is true in my experience as a BE developer. Have built many services with scalability in mind which don’t end up seeing even one tenth the traffic we expected

I completely agree with this statement! In today's fast-paced world, programmers are eager for success and often think about scalability from the very beginning. It's amazing how training programs now emphasize the importance of planning for millions of users even before writing the first line of code. This mindset not only prepares us for future growth but also ensures that our applications can handle the demands of a large user base. It's exciting to see how technology is evolving, and I'm grateful to be part of this forward-thinking industry!
