Of course they are, gamers really hate blockchain and it doesn't really offer much to most games. If anything the use cases I have seen that make sense are mostly concerned around DRM.

Having worked at a gamestudio trying to bring blockchain to gaming a while back, 7.2% is higher than I thought it would be. Most gamers either hated it or didn’t care. This wasn’t web-based though; we were using Unreal to build. I still think it could be use in the sector for in-game items and economies.
