African startups raised $2.2 billion in 2024, down from $2.9 billion in 2023. 188 startups raised at least $1 million in 2024.

Why can't all African presidents invest in supporting startups? The president of the AFDB, Adeshina, also mentioned the importance of venture capital or fundings for startups. The world is moving fast and Africans can't be left behind. Ideas must move forward with good fundings!
