Fun fact: there’s a nearly identical alternative to Base that isn’t affiliated with military parades and cynical political quid pro quo. Incidentally, it’s called Optimism, and, its technology stack is what Base is built using. There’s a DAO, a token, and everything; even Farcaster is built on Optimism. I think I’ll start using it more again. NFA.
