Where can I learn about how Solana accounts are coming to FC? For example, do all Solana users get a native EVM warplet? This would be huge for allowing existing mini apps to reach new user. What changes should mini apps do? What classifies a user as a Solana user - is it the primary wallet linked?

Or maybe I’m misunderstanding - is every FC user getting a native Solana warplet too? How should apps think about primary network for a user?

Thread of what I’ve learned so far: 1. farcaster users get a solana warplet in addition to their ethereum warplet 2. if you’re interacting with an app you’re an FID 3. you can sign with that FID as evm or sol 4. if you need to send or receive tokens you can easily swap Cool takeaways: - To me the multi chain warplet makes it pretty easy to imagine FC as a place where people spend their SOL liquidty on Base apps and vice versa Thanks to @phil @tldr @miguelgarest.eth

Starting to realize why this is so big for megapot - Our app only has one smart contract call which is buy tickets, which means we can abstract away the chain/payment method the user is on. We already do this for credit card tx and more, where we spin up a guest wallet on device for a user. - But annoying part of supporting Solana users is we’d need to create a separate “connect wallet” flow (rather than typical rainbow kit, privy, etc) where they can connect their phantom wallet, understand that we’re creating an Ethereum wallet for them that they need to “upgrade” to keep around, etc - Here they already have a Solana wallet and can choose to use it (not sure if there’s a chain picker, etc) and a native EVM wallet Thought I’d cc @linda @dcposch.eth @segall to see if any thoughts here

I think everyone with a warplet gets both automatically. I'm on the beta and didn't have to do anything extra, can swap back and forth between Sol and eth

I think a long time back most users were asked to link their Solana wallet so there might be already half the users having one for themselves. Otherwise, I think giving the users a new Solana Warplet for onboarding Sol users can be interesting as most Sol degens are used to being forced to have a new wallet across tools but importing option to an existing Solana wallet or connecting like we did a primary one can be a huge boon.
