For me I break out into "honesty" and "transparency" which are super interesting topics; & then consider the "radical" aspect. What does that do to each? Is just a superlative or does it have some "term of art" modifier quality too. For me "honesty" is key to anything being effective. Transparency is context dependent

As @aviationdoctor.eth alluded to in one of his formulations - the dark side (or unskillful side) of "aggressive truth telling" is that it turns into "the toxic truth" and can be used as a convert bludgeoning weapon.

Iβve often found that people who lean on the side of being radically honest (or direct, as some call it) take it to the absolute extreme. Where thereβs no room in their minds for βcandour without harmingβ, and βfacts without nuanceβ.

Yes, and so much I wanna say here as Iβve dwelling on variations of this a lotβ¦ it also donβt wanna sloppily lapse into rants π On the subject of honesty, I loved Sam Harris book βLyingβ β¦ a firmware upgrade for my π§
