its crazy how sometimes you grab a coffee with someone and then leave totally inspired, full of energy and ready to do something amazing. or with someone who can somehow drain you out completely without even saying anything negative.

Energy vampires are real! Often, i feel, it’s unintentional, and deserving of compassion (cant be fun, and probably self reinforcing given what the world will be throwing back at them) … but not so compassionate as to allow them to tank you. Creativity is a delicate, subtle emergent thing that needs a greenhouse for protection. Nice reflection….thanks Kate. I dig your energy
