To celebrate the start of a new builder lifecycle on @farcaster for DeFi/SocialFi, we teamed up with @poapstudio for a celebratory POAP minting on Arbitrum! Created by @tophb - to mint, just follow us here on Farcaster, and recast this cast to unlock it. farcaster.poap.studio

cc @pirosb3 re mini app SDK a feature to request recast / like from the mini app would be great! similar to composeCast it could be composeLike or composeRecast (recast != quote cast) so that the app on client side can handle it nicely and doesn't need to stall on polling for like / recast on the protocol but run that in the background easily + could be nicely supported with a nice popup in frame hosts vs pushing the user to the cast and then having them take some action.

Makes sense and seems relatively straightforward to implement. I imagine this would work as a popup: the mini app triggers the SDK action, a modal appears where the user can confirm the operation (like this post). and once they do, the modal closes and the SDK receives the like context?

yep exactly! not an urgent priority as if you rely on it for security like airdrops you pass that context to the backend and verify there again e.g. using neynar or your own db Though it makes that flow way way easier and nicer! We use that context -> backend for sharing in one mini app (cc @devzl built) and it's a really nice flow as we as app never loose control flwo
