If you’re still thinking in terms of dualism… you’re behind. 

No policy, ideology, or party exists in a vacuum to fulfill your singular / myopic view of reality (ie “socialist,” “communist,” “capitalist” purity). 

It’s all a mess, intermingled and intertwined, public, private, what have you.

Instead, maybe examine the regressional analysis on specific initiatives in alignment with your value systems and desired ends and go from there. 

Facts usually lead to more predictable outcomes.
