Saw “The Odyssey” in IMAX at a late show and have no regrets even though it got out at 1:40 AM. I brought my Loop concert earplugs because I heard it was LOUD and it was and I’m glad I had them. Worth seeing in IMAX for sure. We were shocked that the Tuesday night IMAX price was so much cheaper than normal. Theater was packed. We tried to see it Monday but the theater had a power outage. Was able to get popcorn and an ICEE for the same price as the Monday ticket price so it felt like a win. I have feelings about the cast but probably not for the same reasons as most of the internet. I didn’t like seeing some actors I like playing bad guys. I wanted more of some characters because they were awesome and didn’t get enough screen time. I did not like knowing almost all of the main cast. It was a bit distracting. Did not like thinking of Anne Hathaway as Tom Holland’s mom. Makes me feel old.
