I’ve only been here an hour and I know that a major hospital system is about to do a RIF (reduction in force) on 30% of their staff.
I’ve seen 4 clearly military guys not in uniform but with huge bags talking about how excited they are to get their hands dirty (I’m guessing they are being deployed) and they are JACKED and OBVIOUSLY military or ex.
Something is brewing.
Also a container shipping guy taking a conference call with 9 old white duded in suits talking about plan B and C for shipping delays.
If I wasn’t going to japan I’d buy refundable tickets and sit in the lounge all day for alpha.
