My current workflow for using AI for free research (not code). Tips, feedback, etc. appreciated.
I try not to pay for subscriptions until I’m ready to dedicate time to a subject.
I’m mainly using it for research of Japanese and Korean websites to try to find information for planning my next pilgrimages.
1. I have ChatGPT make research prompts for Claude. Occasionally I’ll use “think harder” mode to get it to make a word document so I can compare what it finds to Claude. I do all of this inside a “project”.
2. I do “google” type research using tools like Duck.ai and Gemini.
3. I use Claude to do multi source research using ChatGPT’s prompts plus sources it’s found for me. I ask Claude to make MD files at the end of each chat.
4. I then spin up a new Claude and ChatGPT project and load all the documents and MD files I have and ask them to combine them.
5. All of this goes into Google Notebook so I can ask questions and make a final document.
What am I missing?
