When doing one of the major pilgrimages in Japan, you leave behind osamefuda, which are dedication slips with your name and prayers/wishes. It’s like a record of your visit. People used to write them on wood and nail them to the temple walls. This is now illegal ;) The word comes from osame = to offer, dedicate, deposit and fuda = a slip, tag, or paper tablet Shoutout to @dandelion for their encouragement and support! If anyone out there needs some special vibes, prayers, wishes, thoughts, etc I am happy to dedicate one of my visits for you or someone you care about.
