The biggest hit of the week was by far my Japanese “ita bag” I removed my normal “nerd” stuff and replaced it with all the patriotic (and girl power) pins I could find. The ladies loved it. “ita” comes from the Japanese word “itai” which means painful and today means “painful to your wallet” because whatever you collect probably makes your wallet cry. I also learned that there is a DAR chapter in Tokyo which thrills me.
