It’s SNAKE DAY which means I’m going on an epic adventure to visit as many Benzaiten Shrines and Temples as I can in Kyoto today!
Benzaiten is the goddess of all that flows: luck, money, and artist’s inspiration.
She’s the only female goddess among the 7 Lucky gods of Japan and has a very close relationship with white snakes, who are her messengers.
Any offerings made on snake day are extra good.
