The reason why I love the bear so much is because Carmy's character arc is so reminiscent of a lot of people's stories 1.) leaves home to try to become big in cooking, not because he wants to, but because he wants to prove to others that he can do it 2.) realizes he wants to be close to family, so moves back home 3.) has issues adjusting out of the bad habits from 1, until someone calls him out on it Most people I think have the person for 3, although its really sad when they don't. One thing I was told at a young age was to always be conscious of who I surround myself with. IMO its always better to err on the side of being mean as long as you have best intentions in mind. Maybe am wrong though

Have never watched the bear, but my friends talked about it so much we ended up buying the white t-shirts he wears on the show while we were in Tokyo lol
