Inspired by @kylepatrick.eth, I decided to start a monthly round up on alternative Farcaster clients you can use today Why is this important? The recent Warpcast client rebrand to Farcaster was a clear indication that @dwr.eth, @v and the team are focused on scaling this place to millions of active users, and I support them wholeheartedly in their mission 💜 At the same time, I believe the Farcaster protocol should remain accessible via alternative clients because you will: 1. Experience this social network very differently 2. Discover how you connect and interact with other users 3. Support the growth of the Farcaster ecosystem The first edition of the Farcaster Clients Monthly Update will be focused on presenting all alternative clients I know of and the people building them 🚨 If you're a dev working on a Farcaster client I didn't mention and would like to be included in future editions, don't hesitate to DM me Each alternative client will be showcased in the thread below ↓

1/ @fiids by @alvesjtiago.eth If you were an early Twitter user, you'd probably stumbled upon or even used an alternative client called TweetDeck. /fiids is the TweetDeck of Farcaster, meaning you can use it to: → Monitor mentions and replies to your Farcaster account in real time → Get a live chronological feed of casts from accounts you follow → Interact with trending casts as they happen Fiids has a Pro subscription (0.008 $ETH per month) that funds the client's development and gives you access to power features like: ➔ Scheduled casts ➔ Multiple connected accounts ➔ Advanced feeds such as keyword search, onchain activity, Lens integration, and much more

3/ @recaster-fc by @haole /recaster is an alternative client similar to @farcaster with features I really appreciate like: → Active badge support - displays the deprecated active badge on Farcaster accounts that have it. This helps me find Farcaster OGs and follow them
