Hey Tim, thanks for the tips. Do you have any links to how tipn works? Where does the allocation come from? And where does the 250 $TIPN that you tipped me with go? Do I need to claim it like Degen? I'm having trouble keeping up with things and am still using degen but it is not displaying correctly in the miniapp since a few days.

And basically, you use the TIPN MiniApp to set up a small amount you automatically tip with your likes (but spend from your holdings). They're currently running an event for a month, that people have an allowance (similar to how Degen works). For the automated tips you can either use USDC or TIPN, I believe. Also you can stake TIPN and receive USDC. People praised it for being a flywheel 😅

🚨 A new era of degen-style tips has begun! Tipn Allocations: Season 1 is live!

🤔 I’ve noticed some people are confused: 
How to use these new tips properly, how to send $TIPN to creators you like, and how to claim your $TIPN?

👉 Here’s a quick step-by-step guide:

1️⃣ Check if you’ve received a $TIPN allocation

✔️ Go to the main page of the TIPN application
✔️ Scroll down to see whether you have an allocation
✔️ This is also where you will keep track of the current balance of your weekly  $TIPN allocation

2️⃣ Set your USDC APPROVAL — This is the MOST important step!

✔️ Without USDC approval, the tips you send will be deducted from your balance but won’t reach the creator!
✔️ No approval = your TIPN allocation goes into the void 💸 ➡️ So don’t skip this step!

3️⃣ Customize your tip amount

✔️ Set the amount to tip with each like I set $0.01$ for each like ( I am very social, and I put a few hundred likes daily) But you can set more.
✔️ Without customizing, your $TIPN allocation won’t get distributed at all!

4️⃣ How to tip someone with your $TIPN allocation

✔️ Pure degen style — simple and clean: 
Include something like "1000 $TIPN" in a reply, and it will tip the creator from your weekly allocation automatically

5️⃣ Check how much $TIPN you’ve received and claim it

✔️ Go to the EARN page in the TIPN app
✔️ In the $TIPN Allocations section, you’ll see how much TIPN was tipped to you in replies
✔️ You can claim it right there!

Not 100% sure where my allowance is coming from tbh, but I have received a notification that I have 10K per week, and @marcelonada confirmed. I haven't set up tipping in the TIPN MiniApp, this definitely unlocks an allowance (I believe immediately). Also if you install the team you should see what you get tipped (unsure about update cycles though). I'm a bit short on spare time to keep up as well 😅
