'Absence of a signal should never be used as a signal.' ~ Julian Bigelow Bigelow was the engineer of the MANIAC (Mathematical Analyzer Numerical Integrator and Automatic Computer Model I), 1952. The MANIAC was designed by John von Neumann. It's first task was to perform precise and extensive calculations of the thermonuclear process. A signal that eventually created an absence.
