Just planted the last thing of the season, Butternut squash. A milestone as it has been a long planting season. I started in March with shallots. The climbing frame for the Butternut squash is recycled pruned plum tree (R) branches. š±ā»ļø š

We dont use pellets but go out at night and pick them off and throw them in a nearby field. Beer traps work well too but its a bit cruel, ...well there are maybe worse ways to die then drowning n beer perhaps š

Same here, I know where they hide at my allotment, under bricks and other things. I collect them up and take them to the field nearby.
