Rules for writing (or working) can be hit and miss, but Walter Benjamin's advice works because of the delivery of style (unmistakably his own) and a certain polished obliqueness in its pragmatism. You can apply many of these to working as an artist. After all... 'The work is the death mask of its conception' π€
