I was gonna claim my @fxhash airdrop with my morning coffee. But my @ledgerofficial Stax needs an update. I guess it will be good by lunch.

ditch ledger, is just a false sense of security.

Not sure what is false. The keys are actually secured. I’d rather not have mine in any other piece of electronic.

blockchain assets are on the blockchain, not on your devices. Just secure your keys and don’t sign weird transactions and you will be ok without a ledger :)

There is no other way to secure your keys than using a secure element. And there is no better way to control what you sign than using a secure element controlled screen. Only Ledger devices have that.

and a backdoor… the best way to not lose your keys is storing your 12 word safely. Same for ledger. If someone has your words, you dont get any extra security from your device. So is the same as a normal wallet. Just protect your keys!!!

I assume what you are referring as a normal wallet is a “software wallet” that stores your keys in a computer or a phone. Not the same.

yep, only extra security is in case of a hack. But guess is the same once you connect a ledger to an electronic device?
