starting to wonder if civilization can cope with a simultaneous emergence of AR / spatial computing, broadly useful AI, robotics, and possibly quantum computing one would have been a major change together, they are the biggest set of changes in history. and yes, likely more and faster than the industrial revolution

We live in a log world. The 60s started with I want to hold your hand and ended with Hendrix setting his guitar on fire. It all feels faster the older we get but it’s pretty consistent. This is why our politics are broken. People aren’t keeping up.

Its incredibly impossible to keep up, the world is so inteconnected and so complex. No person can keep up, no system can keep up, let alone one of the two most rigid of all societal systems (politics and church).
