GM from out east. I’ve spent the last few days exploring California’s Gold Rush towns - one of my favorite inflection points in U.S. history.

Empire Mine was one of the richest hard rock gold mines. Now it’s on a 800+ acre state park with peaceful forests and old industrial equipment you can just roam around.

Building a little space by the ocean called /thenextwave and watching everything on /videolab.

It can be a fun stop if you’re ever driving between San Francisco and Tahoe.
