the language training app - something’s wrong with it and it’s not just the need for text instructions it’s something more fundamental. 2 45s vocal language classes a day, play anytime you want mini games, sundays you get feedback from a trainer. curriculum constantly adapts to your level and needs.

It’s great that you are building this. I tried to speed-learn French and have many thoughts on language apps. Happy to connect sometime and share my perspective if helpful! A bit about me: I wanted to take the DELF B1 (required for citizenship) within 6 months from zero French background. A tutor told me I need at least 2 years of study and that I’d leave the exam room crying, which just made me want to do it more. After experimenting with a few different apps, I ended up using Lingvist for vocabulary and Lingoda for grammar. Took the exam in the 6 month time frame and passed it. Now I preach about the language apps to anyone who will listen.

that’s so amazing!!! and i’m so jealous you’re in france!!! i visited bordeaux and got super super super into wine haha — i think incorporating standardized language lessons would be clutch in the app so i’m stealing that idea
