Wait, are you serious? I’ll take you up on this in a *heartbeat* and would be so grateful. So would my neighbors who hear me playing. And thanks! My Australian friend brought it over for me. His dad has done a lot of work with Aboriginal people and helped me find one. I was a bit apprehensive with some taboos around women playing, but plan to only play privately.

Absolutely serious and at no price. Feel free to throw me a nice tip afterward :) I used to play and teach for tips on the street while I sold ones I made in my yard! The taboo is specifically around the instrument's effects on your ability to bear a healthy child, since its strenuous on the diaphragm. If that doesnt bother you, dont let the taboo stop you. Traditionally, young girls play it, as do women who are done birthing children. I'll help you get good tone and take steps towards circular breathing.
