48 hours into starting this channel. A few thoughts: 1. Blown away by the video talent on Farcaster. Thanks to everyone DMing and tagging me in recs. I’m spacing out intros intentionally so I don't spam the feed, but I see you amazing people. 2. Writing the intros is my favorite part of this, but I don't want to be a bottleneck. If you’re more of an appreciator than a creator and want to support the channel by finding video talent on Farcaster, reach out. More eyes = more feeds = better discovery. 3. Planning to have a simple roll-up of all the Merkle team's announcements around the video format. Maybe a pinned thread, maybe a doc. Coming soon. 4. I gave mod access to all 10 current members. Doing so showed me there's a cap of 10 moderators per channel on Farcaster. Not everyone needs to moderate, so I’ll adjust as needed based on activity. 5. This has given me newfound appreciation of @phil running /books with 78k followers. This channel has less than a thousandth of that, And I already see the challenges of channels (another cast for another time). Also, all the discourse on video has been fascinating. I’ve bookmarked a bunch of text-based casts I plan to feature as well. This channel isn’t for hyping videos simply because they're videos. It’s also for exploring what can make video more compelling and unique to this network. What would make it a *Farcaster* video instead of just a TikTok repost?

I happen to be an Evan Peters fan ever since American Horror Story, so yes. Have you tried casting clips of these on your profile (not in replies) yet? Seems like people have been having video upload issues.

I don’t have issues when I post not in replies and yes I did post these months ago But it’s my experience that video doesn’t do as well as text + image based cast tbh. I’d love to make more videos tho and for there to be a bigger focus/support for it from FC like it sounds they’re gonna do. Maybe a video feed tab is in the work is my guess
