This was an awesome surprise! I have a fun idea for my $125 that involves Noice... I’ll cast later today :)

I received $125 in Farcaster leaderboard rewards this week (!) because people have been willing to take a chance on a newbie’s content. Now I’m paying that forward.

For the next 24 hours, I’m challenging myself to like 125 casts from different Farcasters I don’t follow, have <100 followers, and whose cast I genuinely find interesting. $1 via Noice per like.

I’ll start browsing in channels like /welcome and /100club. Please send any other channel, starter pack, or user recommendations my way. 🤍

Unsure. I feel like I’m the only one trying to engage. Tho I’m about to give up again here too.

Coming back to this because I feel you've got such a great, repeat community around the Farcaster State of the Union and your channel. What's causing you to feel you want to give up? I'd be sad to see you go.

Traction is hard. I dont get engagement and I’m struggling to even get 5 USDC if even that a week. Feels like I do more than some that rank higher to be pushed down again by the system and feels like I’m a bit shadowbanned again

Fashion

My genesis collection “Black Halo Bloom: A Procession of Mythic Rebels” has been available on @syky for a little over a week. Here are three of my faves. Will be sharing more soon too. 

Studying how fashion can be both avant-garde art and visibly conceivable IRL, I explore the ways concepts and clothing construct a narrative. Each figure is styled in garments that could walk a runway—or a dream. Structured silhouettes, symbolic motifs, and surreal accessories evoke mythic guardianship, ritual, grief, and transformation. Fashion functions to shape narrative, identity, even resistance—while remaining tactile, wearable, and alive. These characters wear their stories: stitched with eyes, crowned in halos, armored with lace and leather. This is not cosplay. This is ceremonial wear for another reality—one close enough to touch.

I see you here and the efforts you make to create both art and community, so that must feel tough.

Digital art reminds me of writing lately, where standing out as a creator is hard in the sea of AI. Both creative writing and visual art have started (sadly) to look spammy because they've become so much easier for the masses to make.

This cast from you really stood out to me recently because I normally don't engage with much digital art on the feed. I noticed your cast because I like learning the personal thought process behind your art. I'm not well-versed in digital art, so as an outsider I'm much more drawn to images with human context more than a standalone image.

With AI changing creative access, what makes humans connect to certain artworks (in our social media feeds and beyond)? That's something I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on - in your casts and in a future SOTU perhaps.

There is a distinction between having an eye and using it as a creative tool and spam or slop. Tho since I have chosen this as my medium as of late, been creating and learning art for three decades it does make me sad to see that even when I love what I make that it is getting lumped into the masses.

I feel the same way about the craft of writing as someone who deeply appreciates authors.
