1/ Today I met Ben, the founder of Over. 2/ He completed his undergraduate to doctoral studies at Seoul National University and founded Decipher, one of Korea’s flagship blockchain research communities—where many of today’s Web3.0 leaders first emerged. 3/ His vision is to bring real-world economic payments onto an onchain economic layer, enabling richer financial functionality. 4/ Starting with K-beauty treatment vouchers, he is expanding into lodging, F&B, and other assets, aiming to build a digital asset marketplace deeply embedded in everyday life. 5/ He doesn’t need to develop or even work, yet the vision he has shaped over years of time and experience now drives him toward making blockchain part of daily life. I introduced him to the upcoming Base App (formerly Coinbase Wallet).
