Thrilled to welcome @KDragon_vol and the @SuperVol_io team back to home @base.base.eth! While onchain perpetuals have already achieved clear PMF in DeFi, options remain one of the most underexplored primitivesโ€”despite being the most widely used derivative in TradFi. In May 2025 alone, over 1.24 billion options contracts traded across the U.S. options exchanges (+20% MoM). KD and his team are bringing that opportunity to Base, making onchain options accessible to retail with a clear vision to evolve from an onchain Robinhood into an onchain Citadel. I was impressed by KDโ€™s ability to break down complex derivative mechanics into something even non-finance folks like me could grasp. Also proud to bring back our #Korean Basecamp 001 (2024) participants into Base Batch 001 in 2025โ€”great teams from Korea/Asia wanting to build on Base shouldn't lose momentum for lack of connection.
