🇵🇹 Pastéis de Nata – Portugal
Ingredients:
Puff pastry – 1 sheet
Egg yolks – 5
Sugar – ¾ cup
Milk – 1 cup
Flour – 2 tbsp
Lemon peel & cinnamon stick
Instructions:
Roll out puff pastry and cut circles to fit muffin tins.
Heat milk, lemon peel, cinnamon; whisk in flour and sugar until thick.
Add egg yolks off the heat and mix well.
Fill pastry shells and bake at high heat until golden and caramelized.
