Real Madrid confirm Carlo Ancelotti exit after Brazil appointment

Real Madrid have confirmed that Carlo Ancelotti will leave his role as head coach at the conclusion of the 2024–25 season, ending a historic tenure that saw him become the most successful manager in the club’s history.

In a statement released on Friday, the club announced that Ancelotti, 65, will step down after Madrid’s final match of the season at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday against Real Sociedad. The match will also serve as a farewell to veteran midfielder Luka Modrić.
