@deodad Why don't mini apps automatically override these standard css variables that define the safe area? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/env#values I'm aware that mini apps have defined the safe areas in the context, but now I have to write additional code to handle this.

I believe the docs may be wrong or missing key information. https://miniapps.farcaster.xyz/docs/sdk/context#using-safeareainsets It seems to suggest that you can use the context as if it was an object, but it's a promise. To use it in React it would have to be used inside an useEffect hook.
