Have you ever seen blue fire before? 🔥💙

Honestly, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it for the first time. At 2 AM, hiking in total darkness, super cold, and then suddenly… there it was. Electric blue flames coming out of the ground like something from another world.

It’s not lava, it’s burning sulfur gas. Crazy right? Only two places on earth have this phenomenon, and one of them is here in Indonesia. 🇮🇩

If you ever come to Java, please, don’t skip Ijen. Watching the blue fire before sunrise is one of the most surreal experiences ever.
