Trump's admin shut down USAID after 64 years. It stops aid work starting today. Some projects move to the State Dept. USAID spent over $715B taxpayer dollars. It built a global NGO network. But since the Cold War, results were weak. Development goals rarely met. Instability often grew. Anti-US feelings kept rising.
