Hit home for me. I haven’t prioritised joy enough recently, and I’ve suffered for it. I saw some graffiti in Bali recently that said ‘the best surfer is the one having the most fun’ and that similarly resonated (not that I don’t believe in quantifiable achievements, but enjoying the process is important too).

I have these. I saw multiple reviews calling them their shoe of the year (especially for tempo / speed work), so had to try them. 100k’s in, I like them but have found them a little underwhelming (perhaps a problem with my expectations rather than the shoe itself).
