Is there a zk-chain project whose are building their own hardware as well? 

I’m coming to the conclusion, you cannot make significant progress with owning the chips (running the node).

This is a relatively new idea I wrote up. Need to PoC it still. I am hopeful it may speed up alot of client side proving. I’m probably not going to start with zkML though.
