have lost respect for whoop esp b/c almost all of their new release is either misleading with tons of fine print or just a way to extract more $ on unverified/pseudo science eg bp monitoring is "wellness" not medical "diagnostic" b/c they're using ppg on wrist which might be the worst place to do this vs finger, in-ear, arm where arteries are more exposed and not under soft tissue. you should be concerned b/c like US surgeon general, katie holmes has a doctorate in health adjacent to medicine. not surprising, they're all friends

- how can whoop life be "medical grade" when all their metrics are otherwise branded to be "wellness" in fact all historical independent evals don't put whoop close to medical grade vs apple watch (which is)
- (astrology) adding blood/omics like function/superpower at similar crazy margins ($80 test for $500)
- first impression/pushback by users forced them to make device free, but now they're trying to lock you in for another 12months
- another questionable sleep metric update


all of it is (at best) lying with statistics
