Psyops driven development is where technical decisions are made based on how well they feel to investors (e.g. TPS maxxing), and retail users (e.g. hiding fees via MEV and inflation), and how well FUD can be countered (e.g. block explorer bad, why not you build a better one).

this is why sometimes I wished it was harder to make money crypto, which would filter lots simple bag-chasing teams, and leave us with a group of builders more so leaning towards cypherpunks and holding core crypto values.

but i guess it's a good sign of a growing industry that this is the case
