The situation is obviously still unfolding but the big question up in the air right now to me is whether Trump will choose to escalate further or if there is a window for de-escalation here like the Iranian response to the Soleimani assassination. They gave warnings, the bases were mostly evacuated. Could be. What do you think? For a US President who is rational and reasonable this would be an opportunity to seek peace, but instead we have Trump. Clearly the biggest danger here is Trump losing his mind in bloodthirsty macho bullshit. We need massive rallies for peace and de-escalation around the USA and the world today! Share ones you see in /solidarity.

Maybe one day the US will withdraw its soldiers from military bases in the Middle East back to there beloved homes.

The left has been trying to say that for my whole life but that's why they don't let us get anywhere in American politics 😂 Hopefully someday soon, though.
