Researchers at the University of Florida have developed an experimental mRNA vaccine that helps the immune system target and destroy solid tumors. Instead of focusing on specific cancer proteins, it activates a broader immune response, especially when combined with checkpoint inhibitors. In early studies on mice, some tumors completely disappeared.
