Hearing and observing that it can be a grind for new users to be heard.

For new users: find people who know you and channels where they are active. Thoughtful replies are probably the best way to get noticed.

For old timers: it is your solemn duty to hit the active tab and smash that like button. I’m watching you.

My nursing home doesn't let us use the internets very much, so finding my friends on here is going to be tough.  

Honestly, finding people you want to respond to is fun, regardless if it gets noticed or not.  I tried to grind Steemit, and that was no fun.  Here I'm just going to vibe and hope it all works out.
