Supp @farcaster - time for a proper intro cus I never did one: i'm om, based in bangalore. I'm building a bunch of vibe projects that probably make no sense to anyone but me. also trying to exapnd my surface area for "LUCK" when i'm not coding. i'm learning/writing about network effects or trying to figure out first principles thinking. been watching @noiceapp develop. getting paid for engagement instead of giving it away for free is wild. @tike challenged me to earn my first money here instead of spending my own and so here I am. here's my site: ohmis.me currently working on: app that manages your entire college chaos so you stop relying on friends for deadline reminders. lazy students who want to ace uni is my target market. hmu if you want to see the screens. what are y'all building this week / see y'all around 😉

8/ BUT - don’t get caught up in spam/farm/honeypot token games that will make you ineligible for the drop @quotient, @openrank, @geoffgolberg ++ teamed up for the filtering process. don’t trust me, trust the on-chain graphs and filtering methods they used.

alright so i went down a rabbit hole last week. read 50+ casts/posts from dev team at $NOICE, noticed some tipping patterns, figured some non-obvious things. 1669 folks got the airdrop. some didn’t. “why didn’t I got anything?” wait pal, read this - it might help!!

Farcaster app signups going drop from $3 to $1 later today. This change is thanks to the Storage Redenomination FIP, which makes the cost of each storage unit 20c. Clients like Base and Zapper could choose to sign up users for as little as 20c. When you sign up on the Farcaster app today, we will charge $1 and give you 3 units of storage (which is now 60c). The other 40c goes to the app store tax for the in-app payment. Another important change is that we are extended the duration of all storage units for another year. You do not need to renew storage. We will continue doing every year as long as Snapchain can keep up with traffic. If at any point Snapchain is unable to, we will go back to storage expiring yearly. https://github.com/farcasterxyz/protocol/discussions/229
