Why there may be NO Altseason this cycle 🧵 Everyone’s waiting for the altseason — but what if it never comes? Here’s a harsh truth: There are too many tokens now. ⬇️ Let’s break it down: In 2017, there were a few hundred altcoins. Most capital rotated easily among a handful of projects. In 2021, we had DeFi, NFTs, and L1 wars. Still manageable. Liquidity flowed in waves. In 2025? There are tens of thousands of tokens — most with low volume, zero community, and no real demand.

Capital is now fragmented. Too many choices, not enough conviction. Altseason used to be about narratives rotating. Now it’s about attention dilution. Everyone’s building, but few are holding. Even worse — airdrop hunters and farmers are dumping fast. There’s no sticky user base. No strong holders. No organic demand. So unless something changes… 👉 Altseason might be a thing of the past. This cycle might be all about: Bitcoin dominance 📈 Select L1s or infra plays And a graveyard of forgotten alts Stay sharp. Don’t chase everything.

Strange to see a post like this and the following screenshot from this morning ... All those % changes are from the last 24 hrs Why not bid and hold on the tokens you believe in on the app you're using? Base is seeing "hot ball of money" flows atm
