maybe because it isn’t really about romance at all, it’s about being deeply anchored somewhere true, somewhere steady, so your worth isn’t up for negotiation, your peace isn’t easily shaken, and love doesn’t become a lifeboat for emptiness.
idk, it made me think about what it means to build yourself from the inside first, to be so rooted in faith, purpose, to be whole on your own … that anyone who comes close has to meet you there.
