Web3 gaming ain’t close to perfect. I haven’t touched my PS5 since the start of Cambria S2. And honestly, there’s a special vibe in that. You vibe with the game without stressing about rewards. You explore the world, figure out the mechanics, and just enjoy the ride. Will we ever get something like that in Web3 gaming? Not really sure. When tokens are on the line and marketing’s all about airdrop campaigns, it kinda slows down real game development. The real turning point for blockchain games will be when a Web2 giant steps in. Like, imagine GTA6 dropping its token, its own chain, and a real in-game economy, but only as a tool. The game itself would still be fire and the devs wouldn’t slack on updates. I could talk about this forever, but only time will tell if Web3 gaming hits its full potential.
